Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information we collect when you enrol your child in the Brain Boost Cube Club, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe. It is written to comply with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Who we are
Yash Cube Classes (“we”, “us”) is the operator of the Brain Boost Cube Club. Yash is the primary point of contact for all privacy-related matters. You can message us on WhatsApp or email yashcubeclasses@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you enrol on our checkout page, we collect:
- Parent’s full name
- Email address
- WhatsApp / mobile number
- Child’s name and age
- City
Payment information (card number, UPI ID, netbanking credentials) is collected and processed directly by Razorpay — it never touches our servers. We only receive a payment reference ID and the payment status.
We do not use analytics cookies or third-party tracking pixels on this site. If that changes in future, this policy will be updated first.
Why we collect it
- To deliver the service: WhatsApp group invite, class Zoom links, tracker PDF, algorithm notes, class recordings, and reminders about upcoming classes.
- To process your payment and refunds: forwarding the minimum required information to Razorpay.
- To provide support: answering your questions on WhatsApp or email.
We do not use your information for marketing purposes without your explicit consent, and we never sell or rent it to third parties.
Who we share it with
Your information is shared only with the following, and only as needed:
- Razorpay — payment processing. See Razorpay’s privacy policy.
- WhatsApp (Meta) — class communications, since we message you and add you to the class group.
- Zoom — live class delivery. Your child’s name will be visible to other students and the coach during class.
- Google (Gmail, Google Forms) — email correspondence and the weekly tracker submission form.
How long we keep it
We retain enrolment records (parent + student contact details, payment reference) for as long as the account is active, plus a further 3 years after the last active membership month, for accounting and tax purposes. You can request earlier deletion — see below.
How we protect it
Enrolment data is stored in access-controlled Google Workspace and Razorpay accounts, both of which use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Access is limited to Yash. We do not store payment card or UPI credentials at any point.
Children’s privacy
The Club is designed for children aged 7–14. All enrolments are completed by a parent or legal guardian. We only collect the child’s first name and age — no email address, no direct child contact information. The parent is the primary contact throughout.
Your rights
Under India’s DPDP Act, 2023, you have the right to:
- Access — ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you and your child.
- Correct — request correction of anything that is inaccurate or out of date.
- Erase — request deletion of your data (subject to any minimum retention we are legally required to keep, e.g. payment records).
- Withdraw consent — for any communication or processing you had previously agreed to.
To exercise any of these rights, message us on WhatsApp or email yashcubeclasses@gmail.com from the address on your enrolment. We’ll respond within 7 days.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if our data practices change. The latest version is always at this URL, with a “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the class WhatsApp group.
